Bež barva se prav tako pogosto lahko označi tudi kot dolgočasna barva, ki jo je pri modnem stiliziranju potrebno dopolniti s kakšnim posebnim detajlom, ali pa z obleko in čevlji bolj živih barv. Odtenek bež barve se imenuje tudi barva peska, slonokoščena barva, krem, oker in barva kamele. Modra barva ali modra je simbol zvestobe, poštenja, nadzora, svobode pa tudi sprostitve.
