Zelena barva je barva, ki jo ljudje podzavestno radi dolgo časa opazujejo in na katero so navajeni, tudi kadar gre za oblačila, obutev in nakit. Primerno je obleči se v zeleno modre kombinacije tudi takrat, kadar se želi naglasiti varnost, sožitje z naravo in ekologijo, zdravje, pustolovščina in upanje. V različnih kulturah ima drugačen pomen, npr. na Irskem predstavlja srečo. Z druge strani, preveč zelene barve lahko povzroči letargijo, lenobo in depresijo.
