Bež barva se prav tako pogosto lahko označi tudi kot dolgočasna barva, ki jo je pri modnem stiliziranju potrebno dopolniti s kakšnim posebnim detajlom, ali pa z obleko in čevlji bolj živih barv. Odtenek bež barve se imenuje tudi barva peska, slonokoščena barva, krem, oker in barva kamele.
