Oranžna v psihologiji spodbuja ljudi na druženje, dejavnost, empatijo, razumevanje in boljše odločitve. Glede na raziskave, oranžna barva prav tako izboljšuje apetit. Oranžno povezujemo tudi s poletnimi in jesenskimi kombinacijami oblačil, s soncem, vročino, morjem, bučami, pomarančami, mandarinami, ognjem, jesenskim listjem.
