The hydrophobic impregnating coating covers the outer layer of the material and protects it from absorbing water. The coating causes moisture to condense on the surface of the fabric or knit, after which it freely drains off. The low collar protects the neck. There are 2 open pockets on the sides. The women's down vest is fastened with a one-way main zipper with an internal windproof flap that limits the penetration of cold into the jacket's interior. The bottom is unadjusted.
