Če škornji za planinarjenje, ki jih planirate kupiti nimajo dobre podstave, vsekakor z njimi kupite tudi dobre termo nogavice, ki bodo zadržale več topline v nogah. Sicer ni nikakor dobro, da so čevlji preveliki, ker vam bodo povzročali težave pri hoji, če so pa preozke ali premajhne, povzročale bodo bolečino in žulje.
